Well, it's not exactly free, however, it could be a great deal for audiophiles everywhere. FeedYourPlayer.com offers to take your used CD's and turn them into a brand new Apple device. Basically the exchange rate turns out to be $2 per CD and $3 per DVD. Sure you could sell them yourself and perhaps get better prices on some of your CD's but selling all those CD's on Amazon or similar music store you might not get as much by the time they take out all the fees.
FeedYourPlayer.com will also let you pay the difference if you don't have the proper amount of CD's for the item you wish to receive. So if you want the new 8GB Nano and you only have 25 CD's to trade you can pay $100 along with the CD's. Now if you would have thought all those years ago about paying $10-$20 for a CD, think of how much money you would have now?
Here's the required amount of CDs/DVDs required to get each of the following items:

If there's anything else you want in return, let them know and they can arrange it. Might as well reduce some of that clutter around the house! Link
